Now I know all men aren’t like this but I also know a few that are! Most women know what they want for Christmas and will cleverly hint or leave clues for their men to pick up on, hoping they have actually listened and took note, they are well aware they might need to do this a few times so that it will sink in!

Does it though? The majority of times, it probably does, but what about when it doesn’t? Rather than lose face and ask their beloved, or even one of her friends, they leave it to the last minute, hoping for inspiration, then rush off into town amid the crowds to panic buy.

Not a good idea, believe me (experience talking here). Although you should appreciate the fact that at least he got you something, don’t get me wrong, socks and slippers are always very useful and practical and it’s the thought that counts, but it’s not what you wanted or expected!

Women want a Christmas gift that makes her feel special, loved, one in million, and they want to feel worth it!

Lessons can be learnt here; Listen to your lovely lady, take note, plan exactly what you want to get her, and don’t leave it to the last week. Buy that Christmas gift for her that she always wanted, and for those men out there that already do this, well done and keep up the good work!

100 Days until Christmas

Can you believe its just 100 days until Christmas? As we get older doesn’t time fly?

I always remember as a kid that Christmas always seemed like it took an eternity to come around again. Now I have children of my own and I am a little older, it seems like Christmas was only yesterday.

Every year I am never organised and I always say next year, I am going to be better organised. But year after year I never do it!

Well now I am already starting to panic, I noticed on a TV advert this evening that tomorrow Christmas is just 100 days away.

Shop Early For Christmas ...Four Months Early

I was reading The Sun newspaper today Saturday August 22, 2009 and noticed an article titled:

SHOP EARLY FOR XMAS ...FOUR MONTHS EARLY - Outrage at stores flogging festive gear already

They are saying shops like Londons Selfridges and Harrods are selling Christmas decorations already & cashing in on Christmas early. And a church of England spokesman has said "It's too early to be selling Christmas Gifts. We should not forget the true meaning of Christmas which is to celebrate the birth of Christ"

I don't know about anyone else but in our online shop we have been selling christmas gifts all year round. We find people do like to spread the cost of christmas through out the year.

Not everyone can afford to wait until November / December and just go out and buy gifts on one or two months wages, they either have to budget throught out the year and save for christmas, or buy slowly through the year!!

I don't think this is a one off; shops have been selling Christmas gifts in August / September for some time now.
